About NickiSun.com

Hello Sunshines!

Welcome to my personal blog and website in which I document and share my many humble beginnings and adventures of being a self-made multimedia entertainer*

*I’ve always had difficulty in describing and categorizing what I exactly do. The truth is…the former line narrowing down what this blog is and should be about took me hours to write. How do you consolidate everything you’ve experienced, aspire to achieve, and what you stand for all in one sentence? Often times I am told that in order to pursue my media dreams, I have to do things a certain way, look a certain way, or be in a certain area (*cough* Hollywood). However, I was bothered by how these certain perceptions were molding our society with images meant to socially ostracize others.
Not one to complain unless I can try and find a solution, I started this website and YouTube channel as a way to positively inform, entertain, and inspire our generation by sharing content and interviews meant to engage and uplift our community. Every person I’ve been privileged to interview has inspired me in some way and it is my hope that each of you who comes across one of my videos or blog posts will be equally inspired and motivated to pursue something that you’re passionate about.
I am pursuing media because I want to change media.
